On the floating sky archipelago of the [[Duke Marshal]], the party found a group of civilians taking shelter in a grocery shop. [[Eithan]] created a [[Shadow Clone]] of his lower half, then transformed it into the lower half of a Hitmonlee using the ability to transform into a portrait of the dead he [[Montage Train]]ed from [[Bemo]], then had this clone perform an Irish jig that frightened the children and mothers. Bemo, in the form of his late adolescent sister [[Daisy]], lifted a brick out of the stone tile floor of the grocery to disabuse a soldier, who was there in the grocery guarding the civilians and who’d been condescending Bemo, of the notion that Bemo was just a weak little girl, which startled the soldier. The soldier fell backward into the aisle shelf, which then fell into the next aisle shelf, and this continued like dominoes into the far wall where the momentum rended a large hole to the outside, exposing the civilians inside to the fighting on the street. Eithan learned from a defecting soldier (catching him in is flight AWOL) that the Duke Marshal’s people attributed this invasion to the ghost of the Duke's friend, who was cut in half during their time serving together in the trench war with [[Awast]]. When the soldiers outside saw Bemo in the form of Daisy through the hole in the wall opened up by the falling shelves, the sight ignited religious fervor, because it had been foretold in prophecy that Daisy, the younger daughter of the Duke and younger sister of Bemo, would one day return after orthodontics had sufficiently advanced to repair her teeth and enable her to meet the beauty standard required to ascend the throne. Daisy's teeth pointed outward, parallel to the ground. Bemo transformed into the legendary ice bird Articuno, and froze all of the invading forces from [[Duke Phát]] alive. The officer who noticed this transformation realized that the Daisy in front of him was not actually Daisy but instead a [[Shapeshifter]] and began to tell others this, but [[Yuzu]] threw an erection pill into his mouth and Daisy (Bemo) accused him of inappropriate touching, so the other soldiers carried him away in shame. Daisy (Bemo) persuaded the soldiers that the legendary bird in the sky was a symbol of favor from the heavens. They had to help her return to the plane of the living to fulfill her royal destiny. By the soldier's dirigible, the party reached the main island with the palace of the Duke Marshal. There the Duke Marshall was waiting with [[The Orthodontist]] to fix Daisy's (Bemo's) teeth. The Duke Marshall wanted to have Daisy (Bemo) eat of [[primordial root]], part of the plant that grows [[primordial fruit]]. In the chamber of the primordial fruit, a closed sanctuary with a pond housing the primordial plant, Bemo passed through the [[Wall of Purity]] which surrounded the pond and on the other side struggled to pull a root or swim with his heavy belongings. His strength was true to his adolescent form. In order to increase his swimming strength, Bemo attempted to transform into a Seadra, but only successfully transformed a small part of his body. This was enough to alert the Duke Marshall that the Daisy in front of him was not the real Daisy, so he asserted a [[Zone of Rumination]] upon the whole chamber, freezing everyone, the whole party, with self recriminating thoughts. Yuzu overcame these thoughts by tapping into the power of her desire to spite the naysayers "who say that women cannot do things." Bemo overcame these thoughts by reassuring himself that leaving his sister in his care was actually an active neglect by his father and he was not responsible for her death in the Lion Lands. Ethan decided not to overcome the thoughts, accepting all self-recriminations and allowing his self-esteem to tank, instead used his mental energy to control his lower-half shadow clone and kick the Duke Marshall in his testicles, which were easy to aim at because they were exposed through an aesthetic cockpiece which was in Vogue among the nobles of the sky archipelago. They washed the Duke Marshall’s rectum knife, which he had attempt to defend himself with, in the sacred water of the primordial plant and left it tainted with shit and blood. Outside, the Duke Phát’s forces had set up an ambush. The Duke Phát presented himself, and the party learned that he was only 10 years old, but nurtured grand political machinations which involved marriage to Daisy. Yuzu used her ability to teleport to the impact point of projectiles launched from mechanical devices to launch the party over the ambush and onto the dirigible. Bemo transformed his head and neck into Charizard but otherwise retained the shape of an adolescent girl, unleashed a wall of fire between the dirigible and the other soldiers to buy them some time to figure out a way to launch the dirigible and get off of the archipelago.
